New Zealand artist Thomas Lord showcases a series of large format black and white photographs exploring the greater Otago region. These spaces of contemplation, some wild, some urban and some curated to represent Nature – are settings for rites of passage for local young adults.
On November 6, 2020 it was confirmed that 50.7% of those who voted chose ‘No, I do not support the proposed New Zealand Cannabis Legalisation and Control Bill’. A close result which divided the country. But despite the outcome people are still visiting these spaces, the untouched wilderness and the urban areas, young and old searching for a spot to stop and a quiet place to reflect away from the day to day distractions.
