Need your film developed?
We can do it for you! PhotoAccess is one of the only organisations to offer a film developing service in the ACT.
PhotoAccess can develop your black and white or colour 35mm and 120 films. We can also professionally scan them and create contact sheets or darkroom prints.
Contactless Drop-off and Development
We have two methods of film drop off, either pop into the office Tues- Sat 10am – 4pm, or we have set up a dropbox outside the main entrance to our Huw Davies gallery at the Manuka Arts Centre. Using the weather-sealed ziplock bags and order forms we have placed next to the dropbox, you can leave your films safely in our hands! We’ll send you your scans via dropbox, and negative pick-up will be available during office hours only.

Up to 10 working days turn around time
Film scanning
Professional regular resolution scan, 20 x 30cm (printed size)
$15 per roll
Scanned images can be uploaded to DropBox or uploaded onto a provided USB. If you need a USB we can sell you one for $10.
Contact sheets and hand printed silver gelatin photographs
We can create contact sheets of your negatives or make silver gelatin prints of individual images in our darkroom.

Want to develop film yourself?
We’d love to teach you how to develop your own film! And as a PhotoAccess member you’ll be welcome to use our film developing room, with chemicals and equipment included your membership fee.
