A workshop introducing you to the world of studio portraiture using PhotoAccess’ Bowens lighting Kit. In this hands-on, learn-by-doing course you will learn how to set up, use and shoot with studio lights to create beautiful and eye-catching portraits.
The focus of this workshop is to develop your understanding of lighting for studio portraiture. It’s easy to learn the technical aspects of studio lighting; the real challenge is understanding how best to use lights creatively to bring your vision to life. You’ll look at a range of different lighting techniques, from type of lighting, angle of lighting and the effect of lighting in shaping faces and bodies.
This workshop is aimed at beginners right through to experienced photographers, but we do recommend that you are fairly confident in the use of your camera, as this is not a introduction to your DSLR workshop.
Studio Lighting | Portraiture will take place on Saturday 30 March 2019, 11am – 4pm, at PhotoAccess.
