In this intensive one day workshop you will learn all the aspects of working with Adobe’s economical yet powerful Lightroom program. Using Lightroom efficiently will enable you to spend more time behind the camera and less time searching through your digital files.
You will be guided through downloading images from your camera and importing into Lightroom to create digital catalogues, a powerful organisation tool and a key feature of Lightroom. You will learn basic image editing including how to correct white balance, exposure and lens distortion, as well workflow techniques, including batch processing and finally outputting your images for print and web.
Students will receive a comprehensive printed tutorial book at the start of the course. This book will allow students to study and practice between sessions.
This course is designed for those with no or little experience in Adobe Lightroom. Participants will need to be confident using their laptop, as this not a beginner’s computer course.
For those who wish to complete their Digital Toolbox, a five-week Adobe Photoshop course is also available. See Digital Toolbox: Photoshop for more information.
