Are you looking to explore the ever-evolving world of digital photography and master the art of portraiture? Welcome to the Digital Portraiture Masterclass, an immersive experience designed to hone your skills in capturing faces through the digital lens. This course is taught by Zoe Helene, a skilled photographer and visual artist based in Canberra. She is renowned for her ability to capture stunning portraits and intimate moments.
The first session sets the stage with an introduction to digital basics, such as aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. Participants will also receive an insight into the context of digital portraiture and the influences behind the art. A hands-on outdoor practice with live models offers the chance to put theory into action, focusing on effective communication and technique.
The second session will deepen your understanding through discussions on the previous week’s learnings and take your skills to the next level with indoor shooting using natural light. Working with live models and integrating props will create new dimensions in your portrait work. The final session delves into the essential post-production process, guiding you through editing techniques and the workflow of client interactions, including delivering polished galleries.
Whether you’re an amateur looking to sharpen your digital portrait abilities or an experienced photographer aiming to expand your creative horizons, the Digital Portraiture Masterclass offers an unparalleled opportunity to learn, practice, and innovate. Join us for this intimate and enriching experience, and transform how you see and capture human expression.
