Learn everything you need to know about getting your digital camera off automatic mode and take your photography to the next level!
In this hands-on workshop, you will gain a practical understanding of your camera’s functions – aperture, shutter speed and ISO – together with manual focus techniques and the basics of creative composition. You’ll apply these practical techniques and newly established skills over the course of the day and have the opportunity to ask questions and gain feedback, all under the guidance of experienced photographer and tutor Julian Lumb.
This workshop is for absolute beginners with a digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) cameras or mirror-less cameras (with interchangeable lens) wishing to gain an understanding of the basic principles of digital photography.
Digital Photography Basics, will take place at PhotoAccess on Saturday 2 July 2022, 10am – 4:30 pm.

Enrolments for this workshop close at 5pm on Wednesday June 29th, 2022. PhotoAccess reserves the right to cancel the workshop if there are insufficient enrolments. If we have to cancel, you’ll receive a full refund.
PhotoAccess will happily refund or transfer workshop fees up to 7 days prior to the start date of the workshop. If less than 7 days notice is given PhotoAccess will transfer fees to another workshop but will charge a transfer fee of either 25% of the workshop cost or $50, whichever is less. No refunds or transfers can be given once a workshop has started. Please note that memberships purchased in conjunction with a workshop enrolment are non-refundable.
