Explore capturing the atmosphere, forms and sensations of spring in this two-day, hands-on PhotoAccess workshop led by leading local cyanotype artist, Kim Sinclair. In this workshop you will learn everything there is to know about making cyanotypes. The workshop will culminate in the creation little handmade concertina booklets featuring your cyanotype artworks!
On the first day of this exciting workshop you will be introduced to your tutor who will show you some inspiring cyanotype artworks. After this you will head into the darkroom to prepare your own cyanotype kit, coating paper with the light sensitive emulsion. Once you’ve prepared your kit you will head out into the nearby Telopea Park to create your own cyanotypes en plein air.
On the second Saturday of the workshop you will start the day by reviewing the works you produced previously. After that you will coat a second batch of papers before heading out to another nearby location TBC.
