Join leading local astrophotographer Joe Cali for a bit of midnight nightscape madness on the banks of the iconic Murrumbidgee River. If you’ve completed our recent ‘Nightscapes and Startrails’ workshop or have prior nightscape photography experience, this is a great opportunity to enjoy an evening shooting the stars with a friendly group while also learning new techniques and approaches to astrophotography.
At the end of August, the Milky Way lays parallel to the western horizon around midnight so this field trip will start late and run for three hours until about 1am. A briefing will be given one evening during the week prior to the field trip, with exact meeting times and location provided then.
We can’t promise that the clouds won’t spoil our plans, so please be aware that the trip may need to be rescheduled at short notice. If you can’t make the new time, your $60 will be refunded.
Please contact us if you’re not sure if you have enough nightscape experience for this workshop, or if you are interested in future astrophotography workshops and field trips hello[at]photoaccess.org.au or 02 6295 7810
