Exhibition Opening: Concept to Exhibition

The 2022 instalment of PhotoAccess’ Concept to Exhibition series gave participants the opportunity to work with 2021 National Photographic Portrait Prize finalist Marzena Wasikowska. Marzena is an internationally exhibiting artist and well established Canberran photographer, with works in the National Portrait Gallery and Canberra Museum and Gallery collections.

Concept to Exhibition participants developed a personal photography project over the year under Marzena’s mentorship and guidance, input and discussion from workshop peers, and the benefit of working in a structured environment. The group have challenged themselves and taken their practice to the next level, working towards a polished portfolio of images and a collaborative online exhibition.

This suite of exhibitions will be formally launched at 6pm Thursday 15th September, 2022 in the PhotoAccess gardens. Please join us for a drink, a chat, and to see some wonderful art!
