Hello darkroom, my old friend...
Looking for a great space in which to create beautiful black and white prints?
Spend time in our well equipped darkroom, pick the brains of our knowledgeable staff and meet some like minded film lovers.
Using our darkroom
First, you’ll need to be a PhotoAccess member. Second, we’ll need to know that you can use the darkroom independently. If you’ve completed one of our darkroom workshops, you’re in! If you haven’t, then please give us a call or come in for a chat. Before you use the darkroom for the first time, please book in for a quick induction so we can show you where everything is.
We charge $40 a day for darkroom access or you can buy a 10 visit pass for $350. Both include all equipment, standard chemicals and sage advice. You’ll need to bring your own paper or you can buy some from us.
You can use the darkroom during our usual opening hours (Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm), but we recommend you give us a ring in advance to book your session. Occasionally, the space is reserved for one of our workshops. When this happens, we’ll post a notice on our Facebook and Instagram feeds. So don’t forget to follow us there 😉
