Caroline Huf experiments with the practice of weaving film from which to craft objects, performances and video. Huf is attracted to the quality of analogue film as a material from which to create work, and seeks to discover its possibilities. Darkroom investigations have led to “cameraless film techniques” that intervene directly by scratching, painting and layering fabrics on clear film strip.
