This is the fourth and final opportunity this year for members to exhibit their work in the HUW DAVIES GALLERY. Hang it yourself 2011 is the show when you come in with your work and claim your own wall space. We give you the mounts and you put the work up. There are a few rules to make this easier for us and for you and we encourage all PhotoAccess members to become involved.

Terms and Conditions

1. Works must be presented on paper only – no mounting, no matt boards, no frames.
2. Up to five individual works may be entered, each no more than 42cm wide (paper size) OR one panorama no more than 210cm wide (paper size)
3. Larger works will not be allowed.
4. Online entries are due by midnight Thursday 29 September.
5. Only members of PhotoAccess may enter; a $20 concessional membership is available to people wishing to participate – membership and entry fee must be processed by midnight 29 September 2011. Late entries may be considered but will not be included in the catalogue.
6. There is no subject restriction but we encourage artists to present new work, i.e. work made in the last two years and not previously shown in a gallery in Canberra.
7. We reserve the right not to accept work unsuitable for a public gallery.
8. Work must be hung by the member or his/her agent on Tuesday 4 October or Wednesday 5 October. We will open until 7pm on Tuesday 4 October.
9. The name of each work, the artists’ name and price (if for sale) must appear on the back of each entry.
10. Work must be hung using the acid free mounts we supply.
11. The entry fee is $30 for one to five images or for a single panorama (bargain!).
12. Images can be offered for sale; PhotoAccess takes 25% commission on sales.
13. Unsold work can be collected from 23 October at 4pm or during our weekday business hours and must be collected by 31 October; after that date works may be disposed of unless prior arrangements for storage have been made.
