Course Outline
This five week course is for beginners with DSLR cameras wishing to gain an understanding of the principles of photography and the outcomes possible using different camera settings.

Week three

• Camera care
• Composition - principles and elements
Week four
• Field trip
• Using a tripod
• Practicing metering
Week five
• Discuss results
• Presenting your ideas
• Getting enlargements and framing
• Questions and answers
What to bring: camera, charged batteries, memory card and camera manual (if possible).

18 May – 22 June 2013 (Saturdays 9.30 am - 12.30 pm) excluding 8 June (long weekend) unless teacher and all students agree
